About my work

My background includes supporting children under six and their caregivers through emotional challenges, developmental concerns, and early childhood stressors. Today, I work with children under 12 and parents or caregivers navigating emotional struggles and parenting difficulties.

I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based therapy, and somatic and creative therapeutic approaches. With each child, I develop a personalized plan that supports their social, emotional, and behavioral needs. For parents and caregivers, I offer tools that build confidence, strengthen communication, and support problem‑solving at home.

If you’re exploring support for your child or yourself, let’s connect. You’re welcome to reach out to schedule a free initial conversation by emailing me at becky.coleman.counseling@gmail.com.
